Course Description
This course helps students develop their knowledge of the use of Englsih for communication in science and technology with the skill to teaching. This course is including basically ESP, course design, the syllabus, material design, and methodology. Also this course develop students’ knowledge in teaching strategies including the use of media through demonstration and interaction of different patterns such as individual/ pair/ group work. To reflect their course, the students are required to compile an individual report.
Objectives
By the end of the course students will have had the experience and knowledge in designing course design, the syllabus, teaching methodology, material design.
Activities
The main activities develop in this course are discussion and written report.
Evaluation
Students’ grades will be based on the scores given by supervisor (70%) and quality written report (30%). The written report must contain introduction, course design, the syllabus, material design and methodology.
